BROOKFIELD, Wis. – North Shore Bank today announced it will host a “Get Smart Home Seminar” at its Grafton branch (2301 Wisconsin Ave.) on Monday, April 6 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

During the event, guests can learn about various aspects of buying, selling and building a new home, including how to stage a home for sale, how to plan a stress-free home construction and how to prepare for the mortgage process. Shorewest Realtor Jeffrey Thompson, Joseph Douglas Homes Sales Manager Mike Bauman and North Shore Bank Mortgage Loan Professional Greg Kroll will offer tips and answer questions during the event.

“With home buying season just around the corner, we know many people in our community have questions about the different aspects of home buying, selling and building,” said Chris Boland, vice president of mortgage lending for North Shore Bank. “This event offers a one-stop-shop for the community to ask questions, get answers and be better prepared to get into a new home this year.”

To attend the free event, guests must RSVP by April 3 by calling 262-377-2799.
In addition to the “Get Smart Home Seminar,” North Shore Bank will host its second annual Mortgage Days from April 20-30. During Mortgage Days, the public is invited to schedule an appointment with an on-site mortgage loan officer to discuss home loan and refinancing options, get pre-approved for a loan and learn more about the current rate environment and grant opportunities for qualified buyers.

Attendees can receive $250 off closing costs with a completed application or pre-approval during Mortgage Days, and guests can enjoy refreshments and prizes throughout the event. For more information on select dates and participating branches, visit the bank’s event calendar page.
